The Alan Rogers Awards
We are delighted to announce the winners of the 2007 Alan Rogers Campsite Awards.
The Alan Rogers Campsite Awards are designed to reflect the variety and the values which are conveyed in our guides.
We have carefully considered more than 2000 campsites featured in our 2007 guides, and have taken into account comments from our site assessors, our head office team, and, of course, our readers.
Our award winners cover a geographical area from Portugal to the Czech Republic, and, in all, we have made awards to campsites in 14 different countries.
It has been an extremely difficult task to establish the eventual winners, but we believe that we have identified a number of campsites with really outstanding characteristics.
In each case, we have chosen an outright winner, along with 2 highly commended runners-up.
Below we give full details of each award category and our winners.
