Alan Rogers Travel Service

To focus on our core proposition of providing campsite reviews, Alan Rogers no longer provides a travel booking service; however, you can still book directly with your chosen campsite through our website or join one of our rallies.

Camping Cheques

Camping Cheques was a fixed-price voucher scheme. As the UK agent, Alan Rogers ceased representing Camping Cheque in 2016. This was due to significant changes to the scheme's structure.

Since 1st November 2018, it has not been possible to top up a Camping Cheque card or to extend membership. 

The last date that any vouchers already applied to a card would have been valid was 31st December 2019. 

Camping Cheques had a validity period of two years. A refund is not possible after 31st December 2020.

If you are looking for a low-cost alternative to Camping Cheque, we recommend the Caravan and Motorhome Club Overseas Site Night Voucher scheme.

Alan Rogers Travel Card

The Alan Rogers Travel Card was a loyalty scheme and discount card linked to Camping Cheques. The Alan Rogers Travel Card was discontinued at the end of 2015.

As with Camping Cheques, a refund is no longer possible as any vouchers you may have held has expired.

Alan Rogers Apps

Please Note: We no longer support the Alan Rogers Campsite App or Publications App as the development effort & cost for running these across the full range of devices on both Android & Apple platforms became prohibitively expensive.

Publications app

We discontinued the support of the Alan Rogers Publications app at the end of 2016.

Our current guides are available as pdf downloads from our online store or you could browse back issues of Destinations Magazine.

Campsite App

We discontinued support of the Alan Rogers Campsite App in early 2016. We have focused our efforts on optimising our website for mobile devices as more networks are now offering free European data.

Campsites for Sale

A 3rd party provided our campsites for sale page until January 2023; we no longer list campsites for sale.

Belle France

Due to ongoing economic uncertainty we have took the difficult decision not to operate any Belle France holidays from 2020 onwards.
