Alan Rogers Unique Campsite Award

This award acknowledges sites with unique, outstanding features – something which simply cannot be found elsewhere and which is an important attraction of the site.

WINNER

Camping Jesolo International
WinnerIT6037 (Jesolo, Italy )

A brilliant family resort with direct access to a fine beach. We are constantly impressed by the scale of innovation at this superb site. They have recently been awarded a carbon neutral status, all roadways are lit with solar powered LED lighting and much accommodation benefits from solar paneling.

THE RUNNERS-UP

Orbitur Camping Rio Alto
Runner upPO8030 (Povoa de Varzim, Portugal)

This is an excellent campsite and a member of the Orbitur group. Rio Alto has been certified by the SGS ICS. This is a unique and unprecedented certification. We also feel that the location of the site and the holiday opportunities it presents are both exceptional.

50+ Camping Park Fisching
Runner upAU0525 (Weisskirchen, Austria)

This pioneering Austrian site is unusual in that it only accepts clients over 50 years of age. This is a very high quality site with some excellent amenities and is ideally located for exploring the breathtaking Steiermark region.
