This award acknowledges sites with unique, outstanding features – something which simply cannot be found elsewhere and which is an important attraction of the site.
WINNER
Camping Jesolo International
IT6037 (Jesolo, Italy )
A brilliant family resort with direct access to a fine beach. We are constantly impressed by the scale of innovation at this superb site. They have recently been awarded a carbon neutral status, all roadways are lit with solar powered LED lighting and much accommodation benefits from solar paneling.
THE RUNNERS-UP
Orbitur Camping Rio Alto
PO8030 (Povoa de Varzim, Portugal)
This is an excellent campsite and a member of the Orbitur group. Rio Alto has been certified by the SGS ICS. This is a unique and unprecedented certification. We also feel that the location of the site and the holiday opportunities it presents are both exceptional.
50+ Camping Park Fisching
