La Grande Veyière is a natural site full of character and nestles attractively within the peaceful Périgordine countryside. Monsieur Philippe, the owner, is a charming man and has owned it for a number of years giving a warm and friendly welcome. There is a convivial family atmosphere and the site is ideal for families with young children or for couples wanting a quiet holiday. There is plenty of room with leveled, shaded pitches for touring units and tents (most with 6A electricity, long leads may be required). The remaining are used for mobile homes to rent. The good sized, lagoon shaped, swimming pool at one end of the site enjoys a sunny position and the whole area is nicely landscaped.

Barbecues are allowed on pitches and there are also communal ones. There is plenty to do in this area to keep everyone occupied and much of it is within a 10 km. radius. Castle ruins, a 12th century Cistercian Abbey, Maxange caves, Châteaux, medieval villages and gardens can all be visited. Hiking trails for walkers, horse riding and canoeing are also available.

Directions to Camping La Grande Veyière

From Le Buisson take D25 to Cadouin and Beaumont. 3 km after Cadouin, turn right on D27 to Molières and follow the signs to the site.
