Probably a ‘must stay’ site for surfers, this rural, family owned, wooded campsite, like so many in this part of Brittany, comes to life in July and August. The natural beauty of the wide sandy beaches of la Torche can be accessed directly from the site via a footpath (1.5 km). La Torche is internationally renowned as a paradise for all boardsports, particularly windsurfing. The site has 145 pitches (open from 1 April - 30 September), divided by trees and hedges and tending to the generous in size. Most have 6A electricity connections and 50 have water and drainage also. Around 39 chalets and mobile homes are discreetly positioned amongst the trees and are available for rent until 5 November.

After an energetic or a relaxing day on the beach, you can enjoy a drink at the bar or on the terrace overlooking the site’s pool. There is one modern toilet block of a very good standard. Provisions are available at a supermarket in Plomeur (3 km).

Facilities at Sites et Paysages la Torche

The main toilet block provides British style toilets, showers, washing cubicles and good accessible facilities. A second block opens in high season. Washing machine and dryers. Shop, bar and terrace, with snacks (all July/Aug). Covered swimming pool (15/4-15/9). Play area. Games/TV room. Entertainment in July/Aug. Free WiFi in bar.

From Pont l’Abbé the D785 south to Plomeur, then follow signs for Pointe de La Torche. After 3 km. site is signed to left.
