This friendly, family run site is within easy walking distance of the attractive resort of Villard-de-Lans. The town provides a wide range of summer and winter activities and therefore little is organised on site. It is ideal for those who prefer a peaceful site in a more natural setting. The 189 good sized grass and stone pitches are slightly uneven but with magnificent views over the surrounding mountains. There are 113 for touring, most have electricity (10A). A variety of trees offer some shade. Rock pegs are essential. A fast flowing, unfenced stream runs through the site, so children should be supervised. This is an excellent value for money site and a good base for those seeking a relaxing or active holiday, both in summer and winter.

There are good shops, bars and restaurants, a bank, swimming pool complex, ice skating rink (last two open most of the year) and a gambling casino. There are many marked walks and bike rides (on and off road) around the town, several starting from the site. This is a good centre for lovers of nature and history wishing to explore this lesser known region.
