Alan Rogers Review of Camping de l’Océan
Camping de l’Océan is situated on the Le Croisic peninsula, an attractive part of the Brittany coastline. Out of a total of 400 pitches, some 50 are available for touring units with the remainder being taken by mobile homes, either privately owned or for hire. The pitches are level and 80-100 sq.m. in size (they were rather worn when we visited). The leisure facilities, which include a restaurant, bar and pool complex, are of an excellent standard. This site, probably more suitable for families with young teenagers, can be very lively in high season with a wealth of activities and entertainment for all ages. Sports are well catered for and there are tournaments in high season.
After an excellent meal in the restaurant you can enjoy a range of entertainment on most evenings in July and August. The site is within walking distance of the Atlantic Ocean and white sandy beaches, just 150 m. away.
Facilities at Camping de l’Océan
Three adequate toilet blocks with accessible facilities. Washing machines and dryers. Restaurant, bar, takeaway and shop (all season). Motorhome services. Swimming pool complex comprising an indoor pool, outdoor pool and paddling pool (15/5-25/9). Spa and wellness facility. Volleyball. Football. Basketball. Tennis. Bicycle hire. Charcoal barbecues are permitted. WiFi over site (charged; free in bar area). Mobile homes and maisonettes for rent.
