Alan Rogers Review of Camping Cabaliros
This is a delightful site, with friendly family owners who will give you a warm welcome to this magnificent mountain area. The open, grassy site has stupendous panoramic views. A separate field has 36 pitches for small tents and another 60 touring pitches with electricity (6A Europlug). These are large and grassy and some shade is provided by mature trees. A communal room is used by visitors for free WiFi, to make music, play games, watch television, read books and enjoy themselves. The site is within walking distance of Cauterets, with its shops and restaurants, and Argelès-Gazost and the major pilgrimage town of Lourdes are suitable for day visits.
The site provides a convenient centre for walking in the Pyrenees National Park with its abundance of flora and fauna. There is a play area for the over 7s, while older children (and adults) have been provided with a beautiful covered meeting area with a large library, tourist information, television and tables and seats where they can spend time together.

Sanitary block near site entrance with WCs, hot showers and washbasins in cubicles. Accessible Facilities. Washing machine and dryer. Motorhome services. Large library (some English) and excellent meeting room with television. Play area (over 7 yrs). Fishing. Free WiFi throughout.
Directions to Camping Cabaliros
From Argelès-Gazost take D921B followed by the D920A to Cauterets. Site is on right 200 m. after Carrefour supermarket, just before Cauterets.
