This is a friendly, family site which is undergoing a process of renovation by its new owners, Stéphane and Johanna Batlo. A superb new toilet block was added in 2014 along with a fun paddling pool. The site has an attractive wooded location, sloping down to the River Aveyron and facing the Roc d’Anglars. There are 80 pitches, 49 are for touring units, all with electricity connections (3-10A). The pitches are grassy and well shaded and may become very soft in wet weather. Some pitches are available close to the river but we would suggest that these are unsuitable for younger children as the river is unfenced.

This is a very quiet site in low season and some amenities, notably the snack bar and shop are only available from June. The nearby artisan town of Saint Antonin-Noble-Val dates back to the eighth century, and is just 1.5 km. from the site. It is accessible on foot via a quiet, shaded road. The town, with its medieval streets, is well worth a visit. It has a good range of shops and restaurants. The Gorges de l’Aveyron are well known for outdoor sports: canoeing, paragliding and potholing are all possible, with experienced guides. Fishing in the Aveyron is available directly from the campsite.

Gas barbecues are not permitted. Mobile homes for rent.

Directions to Flower Camping les Gorges de l’Aveyron

From the north, take exit 59 from the A20 autoroute joining the D926 and follow signs to St Antonin. Site can be found on the D115, 1.5 km. east of the town.
