A popular, family run park, Cofton is 1.5 miles from a sandy beach at Dawlish Warren. It has space for 450 touring units on a variety of fields and meadows with beautiful country views. Although not individually marked, there is never a feeling of overcrowding. The smaller, more mature fields, including a pleasant old orchard for tents only, are well terraced. While there are terraces on most of the slopes of the larger, more open fields, there are still some quite steep gradients to climb. There are some 450 electrical connections (10A), 16 hardstandings and 14 ‘super’ pitches. One area has 66 park-owned holiday homes for let.
Facilities at Cofton Country Holidays
Toilet facilities comprise six blocks, well placed for all areas, one of very high standard. Facilities for disabled visitors and babies. Hair dryers. Dishwashing. . Two launderettes. Gas available. Ice pack hire service. Bar lounge. TV. Shop. Fish and chip shop also serving breakfast. Swimming pool (overall length 100 ft. open Spr.B.H-mid Sept). Games room. Adventure playground in the woods overlooking the pools and two other well equipped play areas. Coarse fishing (from £25 per rod for 7 days, discount for senior citizens outside July and August. Caravan storage. Seasonal pitches.)
