The Ionian coast of Calabria is a mixture of industrial areas (there is off-shore oil and gas), rural areas and large and small holiday resorts. Cropani Marina is definitely at the smaller end of the holiday spectrum and it is some considerable way south on a road that gets progressively slower as you travel. The site has 120 pitches in total but has mobile homes, static caravans and tent only areas. This means that there are perhaps only 40 pitches for touring caravans or motorhomes, all with electricity (6A). There are apartments opposite for rent and a bar/restaurant just outside the gates.

Ty-Nadan is a well organised site set amongst wooded countryside along the bank of the River Elle. The 183 pitches for touring units are grassy, many with shade and 99 are fully serviced.

Close to the sea, Bois Soleil is a large site in three parts, with 165 serviced pitches for touring units and a few for tents. All the touring pitches are hedged, and have electricity, with water and drainage between two.

The 26 hectare estate has three lakes, two for fishing and one with a sandy beach and safe swimming area. There are 135 good sized touring pitches, level, terraced and hedged.
