Campsites in Northern Switzerland
The landscape around Zurich consist of gentle hills, peaceful woods, clean lakes and rivers and picturesque villages. The town itself has over 50 museums and 100 galleries so there is plenty to see and do. Sitting on the Rhine, Basel is a major trade artery and its lively cosmopolitan air reflects this. Nearby the undulating green hills of the Jura, the broad plateaux with their magnificent views, and also the Laufental valley to the south of Basel, are delightful walking areas far away from any hustle and bustle. Here you can enjoy the rural idyll on well-signposted paths.
