Camping Hümmlinger Land is located on the outskirts of Werlte and close to one of the longest megalithic tombs in Germany, the so-called “Hoogen Stainer”. Conveniently close to the village centre yet in the middle of nature surrounded by the beautiful Hümmling Park. The campsite has its own free 'Barefoot Path', minigolf, billiards and a sauna (extra charges). This award-winning site has around 60 touring pitches. Sleeping barrels, a shepherd's hut and a tree tent are available to rent.

For families, there's a mountain bike trail park, bowling centre, climbing hall and low ropes course nearby. Cyclists can enjoy one of the many cycle routes and walkers have access to the Hümmlinger pilgrimage route. There is a lot to discover with the Animal and Leisure Park in Thüle, the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, the wave pool in Löningen, the Fairytale Forest and the summer toboggan run in Surwold.

From the South, take the B402/E233 to Werlte. From Emmen-Meppen-Cloppenburg, take the B233 direction to Werlte. Campsite signposted (direction Rastdorf).
