Op Der Sauer is by the river on the fringes of the town of Diekirch, a 15 minute walk away along a riverside path. The 200 large, grassy touring pitches have 10A electricity and views of the river. Reception and other buildings are set around a small courtyard, giving a village atmosphere to the site. Sebastiaan and Ellen, the enthusiastic new owners, are constantly making improvements. A wellness block with infra-red and traditional saunas, and a new bar and restaurant have been added this year, and they hold a national Eco-label award for their approach to recycling and the use of sustainable materials. Fishing is possible from the path adjacent to the site.

There are some seasonal pitches and there are a small number of static caravans and chalets available for hire. These are generally in a different area of the site.

Facilities at Camping Op der Sauer

Modern heated sanitary blocks with hot showers. Accessible facilities, No shop, but bread can be ordered. Bar, restaurant and takeaway. Shallow (65 cm), unheated swimming pool. Play area. Boules pitch. Fishing. WiFi.
