Campsites in Champagne-Ardenne
The Champagne-Ardenne is a region of great beauty in the northeast of France, bordering Belgium, is wrongly often ‘forgotten territory’ but by some it’s considered close to paradise! And there’s nothing like camping for people who enjoy fresh air and wide, open spaces. Camping in Champagne-Ardenne offers some 110 campsites, near lakes or in the heart of preserved areas, so just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet! Of course, you might know it’s the only place in the world to make a sparkling unique wine called Champagne, but the region has a lot more to offer.




Managed by the enthusiastic Baude family, this newly renovated lakeside site is near the city of Langres. Only 10 minutes from the A5, Camping Lac de la Liez provides an ideal spot for an overnight stop en route to the south of France.
This is a large, family run site situated between Paris and Troyes and open all year. Primarily a site for the seasonal caravans and chalets belonging to Parisian weekenders, there are also 23 chalets to rent and just 35 pitches for touring units.
Formerly known as Les Sources du Lac, the site is located close to the village of Eclaron and has direct access to the Lac du Der. This is a very large lake with 77 km. of shoreline and is home to over 270 species of birds.
A delightful new site in the heart of the Ardennes. It is peacefully situated just outside the village beside a stream. Flowers decorate the entrance and bushes and saplings separate the pitches.
This most attractive campsite, entered through an arched gateway, was created in 1995 by careful conservation of original forge buildings to create modern facilities in this secluded valley. A picturesque bridge links the upper part with a lower road to the section near the river.
