Channel View is a quiet, family run park situated in a sunny, south-facing position overlooking Lynton and Lynmouth. The gently sloping ground provides fairly level pitches which are mostly on hardstandings. The park is divided into two areas, an open area that is sheltered by bushes and trees and one that is more exposed but has views. There are 15 serviced pitches with electricity, water and a drain, and 60 with electricity (16A). The grass is well cared for and there is site lighting, although a torch would be useful. There is a café on the site that also offers takeaways.

The 26 hectare estate has three lakes, two for fishing and one with a sandy beach and safe swimming area. There are 135 good sized touring pitches, level, terraced and hedged.
