Campsites in West Slovakia
The region of Bratislava lies in the south-west of Slovakia. It is known for its waterways; including the river Danube and the “Sun Lakes” near Senec; the Little Carpathians mountain range; its sunshine and its wine production. It is also the home of the country’s capital, Bratislava. The north west region of Povazie is perhaps best known for the Castle of Trecin which dominates the skyline of this picturesque riverside town. Encircled by forests and valleys, it is also quite close to the historic spa town of Trencianske Teplice.
