Pembrey Country Park Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
Pembury Country Park Caravan and Motorhome Club site is set on the edge of the 520-acre country park. It enjoys a wonderful location with a vast range of outdoor activities, including the use of a seven-mile stretch of safe, sandy beach a mile away. Well sheltered, the site is set in 12-acre grounds and provides 125 touring pitches, of which 69 are on hardstanding for caravans and motorhomes. All are equipped with 16 amp electricity. Thoughtful landscaping has included the planting of many species of trees and a circular, one-way tarmac road provides easy access. Sensibly placed service points provide fresh water and waste disposal of all types. RAF jets do practise in this area (although becoming less frequent and generally not flying at the weekend). Tents are not accepted.
St David’s Lleithyr Meadow Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
St David's Lleithyr Meadow Caravan and Motorhome Club site is nestled between three headlands of the dramatic Pembrokeshire Coast. It offers swimming, surfing, windsurfing and sailing from Whitesands Bay, just over a mile from the site. Anglers can fish in the reservoirs or the sea. Dedicated to the outdoor lover, the site encourages you to explore the rich, luscious surroundings. The site has 115 grass pitches (some seasonal), all with 16 amp electricity.
Freshwater East Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
Freshwater East Caravan and Motorhome Club site is located within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. The site is flanked by trees on one side with a mix of grass and hardstanding tiered pitch areas to choose from. There is a total of 142 pitches (some seasonal), 77 hardstanding, all with 16 amp electricity hook-ups. There are four pitches for tents. The beach and the Pembroke Coastal Path are just a few minutes’ walk. This is an excellent area for walking with magnificent cliff views and birdwatching. You will find Saint David’s, the smallest cathedral city, well worth a visit.
Shawsmead Caravan and Motorhome Club Site
You can sit back relax and watch the red kites soaring above, however this Club site assume to its close proximity to the coast and quaint little bays means swimming and water sports could be filling up much of your holiday time here. A peaceful meadowland site, you'll feel positively tiny amongst the vast open areas and wondrous views towards the coast. The site has 48 pitches, mainly hardstanding pitches (some seasonal) all with 16 amp electricity.
Well Park Caravan & Camping Site
Well Park Caravans & Holiday Cottages site is situated just outside Tenby, on the beautiful south Wales coast. During the day children can enjoy the play area which features swings, sandpit and multi-play area. The site has been beautifully landscaped with manicured gardens, flower beds, rockeries, and even a fish-pond to ensure that guests enjoy their surroundings.
Afon Teifi Caravan & Camping Site
Situated ten miles from the sea in the Teifi valley, this could be a useful base for those interested in both coast and countryside. There are 110 pitches in two level, neatly cut grass fields, separated in places by a low hedge, with a tarred circular roadway. There are 95 pitches with 10A electrical hook-ups and 20 are on concrete hardstandings. Spacing is good and there are 15 acres of land for walking dogs and children’s play areas. However, the site has some 70 units in storage, ten mobile homes, and also 12 seasonal units, and can have a somewhat empty feel outside weekends and peak season.
Glyncoch Isaf Farm Camping
Glyncoch Isaf Farm is just three miles from Llangrannog's stunning sandy beaches. You will love wandering along the best of Ceredigion's coast and visiting stunning beaches nearby. This charming dog-friendly farm is an animal lover's dream with friends in the form of alpacas, horses, sheep and more. You'll be a short drive from several stunning beaches, cliff walks, woodlands and rivers.
Moreton Farm Leisure Park
Moreton Farm has been developed in a secluded valley, a 10-20 minute walk from Saundersfoot and four miles from Tenby. It provides 36 caravan pitches (all with 10A electricity, including 22 fully serviced hardstanding pitches) plus 24 tent pitches on two sloping, neatly cut grass fields. There are 12 pine holiday lodges and four cottages to rent occupying another field. The site is approached under a railway bridge (height 10 ft. 9 ins, width across the top 6 ft. 6 ins, but with alternative access over the railway line for slightly larger vehicles just possible). There are a few trains during the day, none at night. This is a quiet family site.
South Cockett Caravan & Camping Park
South Cockett is an attractive and well maintained park which is personally run by the James family (Stephen, Esme and Will). The park provides 70 caravan pitches, all with electricity and 20 tent pitches, some with electricity. They are all grass (no hardstandings) and laid out over five separate areas which are separated by high, well maintained hedges. There is, however, no separation between pitches and very little shade. A bus service to Broad Haven and Haverfordwest is only 300 yards from the site. A well stocked shop can be found in nearby Broad Haven along with its Blue Flag beach.
Springwater Lakes
Set in 20 acres of Welsh countryside, Springwater offers a selection of fishing lakes to keep even the keenest of anglers occupied. However, it is not just anglers who will enjoy this site – it is a lovely base to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of this part of Wales. Springwater offers 40 spacious, flat pitches either on grass or 30 gravel hardstanding, all with 16A electricity and ten fully serviced pitches, plus ten tent pitches. Malcolm and Shirley Bexon are very proud of their site and welcome all visitors with a smile. This is not a site for children unless they enjoy fishing (no play areas). Erwlon Caravan & Camping Park
Just outside Llandovery and on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, Erwlon is an attractive and welcoming campsite. Of the 110 pitches, seven are used for privately owned caravan holiday homes, 33 have seasonal caravans, and 70 are for touring units. Fifty are on hardstanding with electricity connections, and 12 have water and drainage as well. There is a flat field for tents at the bottom of the park with some electrical outlets; an open-sided, covered area for eating, food preparation and bicycle storage is at the planning stage. The site has a relaxed atmosphere where consideration for others minimises the need for formal rules.
Cenarth Falls Holiday Park
The Davies family has developed an attractively landscaped, part wooded holiday home park in the picturesque location of West Wales. A neat, well cared for, sheltered area at the top of the park provides 29 touring pitches, accessed via a tarmac road. All are on shingle hardstanding with 16A electricity. A sunken, kidney shaped outdoor pool with landscaped surrounds and sunbeds is a focal point. The Coracles Health and Country Club provides an indoor pool, spa, sauna and steam rooms and fitness suite (reduced rates for campers). It also provides a bar with pizzas, an adult only lounge and a large function room where live entertainment is organised during the main season. Everything is of a high quality. Woodlands Caravan Park
Woodlands Caravan Park is a well-established, family-run site near Aberystwyth, set amidst some of the most beautiful scenery Mid Wales has to offer. It is situated in Devils Bridge, a small village nestling at the top of the Rheidol Valley, 12 miles inland from the coastal town of Aberystwyth. It is an ideal base for touring Mid Wales, walking, cycling, mountain biking, birdwatching, fishing or just relaxing and taking in the fresh air.
Fishguard Bay Caravan & Camping Park
Fishguard Bay Caravan & Camping Park is perched on a magical spot on the unspoilt western coast of Wales between the big sky and the briny sea, where the cliffs plunge to the golden sands and smugglers’ coves below. The site has 80 pitches of which 36 are for touring units including 18 for tents There are also 45 lodges, mobile homes and glamping pods, some are available to hire. Here you will discover some of the finest beaches in the country as well as the 186-mile coastal path. Throughout the county you’ll find every form of outdoor activity known to man, as well as adventure parks, theatres, cinemas, boat excursions, fabulous places to eat and beautiful towns and villages to explore. You could visit the Preseli Hills, Pembroke Castle or the iconic cathedral at St Davids, Britain’s most compact and bijou city.
Bryn Ednyfed Caravan & Motorhome Park
Bryn Ednyfed Caravan & Motorhome Park is a peaceful site with spacious and well-laid-out pitches with electricity hookups and water available on the pitches. The welcoming owners are on hand to help with anything you may need when staying here, with ideas of where to go sightseeing and where the best attractions are. There are castles, monuments and mines to explore and over 125 miles of coastline to enjoy. The site facilities include a new heated shower block and a sizeable accessible wetroom.
Noble Court Holiday Park
Centrally situated for southwest Wales, Noble Court is a family owned park with good facilities. The neat entrance sets the standards for the park which is part caravan holiday homes (60) and part touring. Arranged over four hedged fields, each one at a slightly lower level, with an additional tenting field, the last has lovely views over the rural Welsh countryside. All 92 touring pitches have electricity; 25 on grass terraces have waste water connection, fresh water supply and 16A electricity, and the others are mainly on gravel-based hardstanding.
Pencnwc Holiday Park
Pencnwc Holiday Park is a family owned holiday park with a wide range of recreational facilities, close to the Cardigan Bay coastline and only two miles from the seaside town of New Quay. There are 414 pitches, 130 for touring, of which 74 are fully serviced seasonal pitches, 13 are fully serviced daily pitches and 43 are hardstanding 16A hook-up pitches. They are in the centre of the site, away from the static and seasonal vans.
Blaenwaun Camping
Blaenwaun Camping is an exclusive family-run campsite by David and Louise based in the heart of rural West Wales. Here you will find five 9x9m hardstanding pitches set in a large field with lots of open space, each with an electric hook-up and water point. This CL-style site is set just outside the village of Crugybar, Carmarthenshire and offers the choice of relaxing on-site or adventuring around West Wales.
Cardigan Bay Camping & Caravanning Club Site
Cardigan Bay Camping & Caravanning Club site is near the attractive beaches of the Welsh coast, especially at Mwnt, which are easily explored from the site which is near New Quay. You can see red kites as a result of successful conservation from here and you may be lucky enough to see dolphins off the coast. The area is a nature lover's paradise and there are numerous attractions for all the family. Head to New Quay Bay to watch the fishing boats bring home their catch and then buy it fresh from the fish stall.
Hungerford Farm Touring Caravan Park
Hungerford Farm is a family run touring caravan park located in a quiet, central semi-rural location and open all year round. You will receive a very warm welcome from the site owners and team, who are very helpful with local knowledge. This is a lovely site, mainly open plan over two fields with easy access off the A4075, providing 25 standard pitches in one area and the other has 12 super pitches (with mains water) and 8 grass pitches. Both areas are sympathetically landscaped with a central recreational area. All the hardstanding pitches have electric hook up and grey water drainage. Levelling blocks may be required on some pitches as the site is on a slight slope. Facilities are of a high standard; the site is very safe for children and there is a designated dog walk field plus an outdoor dog shower. The site also offers caravan storage facilities.

West Wales

Much of Ceredigion’s 50 mile coast is designated a Heritage Coast and boat trips offer the opportunity to view this rugged coastline and get up close to its wildlife. Pembrokeshire, with it’s famous National Park, is the home of Dylan Thomas, old castles, and attractive countryside. Carmarthenshire is home to the National Botanic Garden of Wales.
